Changing DDU target drive

Post by Mrfrog »

Is it possible to change DDUs target driver directories or drive for detection when DDU is launched from outside the OS you want to use it on?

I'm stuck with a Windows install that will only display a black screen and won’t go into safemode. It is however definitely getting to desktop, as when I leave it long enough I can hear system sounds, so I feel quite sure the problem is with graphics drivers and would like to uninstall them using DDU.

I have tried to launch DDU from a Medicat USB Windows Mini liveOS, but it only detects graphics drivers for the liveOS itself in x: (according to DDUs logs) despite DDU being saved and launched from within c: where the problem os is located.

Would appreciate any help as I'd really like to avoid having to fully backup or reformat the drive. Thank you.

It is not possible from another computer. But you could use another computer to remote desktop into it.

Using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from Medicat USB Windows Mini liveOS can improve controls with the many complexities of driver management in a live environment and the need for efficient solutions to ensure proper driver uninstallation
